Chuck Lorre has officially concluded his divorce with Arielle Lorre after filing for divorce in 2022. Despite having a prenup, it seems like he’ll be paying a hefty sum for a marriage that lasted only three and a half years. However, he will still retain possession of his beloved four-legged companion.
In the recent court documents obtained by TMZ, it is revealed that Chuck will be paying out a substantial amount in the settlement, reaching into the seven digits. As per the settlement agreement, Chuck has agreed to pay Arielle $5 million, where $1 million was already paid as soon as the judgment was finalized, with an additional $4 million to be paid 30 days after Arielle vacates their shared residence, which she plans to do on February 1st.
On the bright side, Chuck will still have custody of their dog, Harvey, which is a relief. However, Arielle will have regular visitation rights with the dog, so they will have to share custody. What’s intriguing is that despite having a rock-solid prenup in place, Chuck is paying a hefty sum to his third ex-wife. Sources reveal that the $5 million he is paying exceeds the original prenup amount. Additionally, there is a non-disparagement agreement in the settlement, prohibiting either party from speaking negatively about the other following the divorce. Despite being married for only a short time, it seems Chuck is taking the financial hit. While the payment may seem significant to most people, Chuck is a highly successful sitcom producer with numerous show credits to his name.
